Fuel spill closes I-80 eastbound
BROOKVILLE — A three-mile stretch of eastbound Interstate 80 has been closed due to a fuel spill caused by a crash.
State police have yet to release details of the crash, which was reported shortly after 6 a.m. Monday. But PennDOT spokeswoman Deborah Casadei says the crash involved a single tractor-trailer.
The spill has closed the eastbound lanes between Exit 78 at Brookville and Exit 81 at Hazen. The fuel spill occurred near the Brookville exit.
A detour has been posted and the lanes were expected to remain closed until about noon.
