Bradley Hickling Porter
Bradley Hickling Porter, 71, of Slippery Rock passed away at 5:25 p.m. Saturday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice.
He was born March 18, 1942, in Ellwood City to Harold Porter and Betty Hickling.
He married Barbara Susan Pishioneri on May 2, 1964.
He was a U.S. Army veteran.
He was a 1959 graduate of Lincoln High School in Ellwood City.
He retired in 2007 from Massaro Construction in Pittsburgh.
He enjoyed bird watching, was an avid carpenter, loved football and NASCAR and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Porter, at home; one son, Timothy Weston Porter and his wife, Debbie, of Slippery Rock; one daughter, Jill Suzanne Porter and her husband, Carlton J. Scott, of Pittsburgh, and one brother, Terry Porter of St. Petersburg, Fla. He also is survived by three grandchildren and a fourth to arrive soon.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Timothy Weston Porter.
PORTER — The friends of Bradley Hickling Porter, who passed away Saturday, May 11, 2013, will be received at the SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 421 New Castle St., Slippery Rock, from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday.Additional visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.Interment will be at the Castle View Memorial Gardens, New Castle.
