Alice M. Day
Alice M. Day, 74, of Butler passed away Tuesday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice.
Born Nov. 19, 1938, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late James and Emily Cottrill Fend.
Alice was an avid reader, loved drawing, poetry, cards, Yahtzee, gambling and playing the lottery. She especially enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and sisters.
She retired from the International Staple and Machine Co. in November of 1989.
Alice was a member of the Oak Hills Christian Church.
She is survived by her husband, John C. Day, who she married April 27, 1981; five daughters, Denise and Bob Caracci of Butler, Debbie Watson of Natrona Heights, Winky Cameron of San Diego, Calif., Mary and Ed Parsons of North Wilkesboro, N.C., and Lori and Greg Frescas of Willingboro, N.J.; grandchildren, Bruce and Heather Yohe, Erika Watson, Katie and Andrew Parsons, Sarah, Cortney, Cassidy and Cody Cameron and Hunter and Ivy Frescas; two great-grandchildren, Emily and Ashley Yohe; and three sisters, Pearl Osche, Mary Lou Davis and Thelda Geibel, all of Butler.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Ramon Cameron; sister, Mable Mulneix; and seven brothers, John, Jim, Chick, Rob, Don, Ken and Ralph Fend.
