Elizabeth F. (Piper) Reinhart
Elizabeth F. (Piper) Reinhart, 89, of Zelienople passed away Sunday while under the care of Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born May 20, 1923, in Jackson Township, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Elizabeth (Downing) Piper.
Mrs. Reinhart was a lifetime member of the St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Evans City where she was active with the Friends in Christ group.
She was employed as a baker for Golden Dawn Foods for over 20 years, worked as a clerk at Baldinger's for over 10 years, and upon her retirement, worked for Weyerhaeuser & Paragon Trade Brands in Harmony through their special program for senior citizens.
During her free time, she loved quilting, baking homemade bread and sugar cookies and working on crossword puzzles. Mrs. Reinhart enjoyed the time spent with her bingo and card club friends. She had the pleasure of traveling to 48 states alongside her late husband, Floyd. She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her four children, John Reinhart of Zelienople, Carol Kerr of Butler, Harry Reinhart and his wife, Kathy, of Butler and Linda Armstrong of Harmony; her 14 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Floyd Harry Reinhart, who passed away on Nov. 28, 1999; her four brothers; and four sisters.
REINHART — The family of Elizabeth F. (Piper) Reinhart, who passed away Sunday, May 19, 2013, will welcome friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.A funeral ceremony will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at the St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 202 Van Buren St., Evans City, with the Rev. David R. Saylor officiating.
