Thelma I. Raisley
Thelma I. Raisley, 85, of Leeper died Sunday at the Golden Living Center in Clarion.
Born July 30, 1927, in Mt. Chestnut, Butler County, she was the daughter of Chalmers and Dorothy Flinner Pflugh.
Thelma was married on Oct. 20, 1943, to Orville Raisley, who preceded her in death on Nov. 17, 1976.
She retired from the Owens-Illinois Glass Plant.
Surviving are six children, Nancy Ganoe and her husband, Edgar, of Shippenville, Betty Siegel and her husband, Carl, of Leeper, Ronald Raisley and his wife, Pam, of Oklahoma City, Okla., Joyce Renninger of Knox, Dennis Raisley of Cranberry and his companion, Kevin Kovel, of Pittsburgh, and Kelly Hess and her husband, George, of Clarion; 14 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving are three siblings, Warren Pflugh of Worthington, Bertha Barnes of Butler and Harvey Pflugh and his wife, Kay, of Mt. Chestnut.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Richard Siegel, and a son-in-law, Ray Renninger.
RAISLEY — The family of Thelma I. Raisley, who died Sunday, May 26, 2013, will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at theRobert V. Burns Funeral Home, 638 Wood Street, Clarion.Funeral services will be at 8 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home with Pastor Randy Evans, Clarion Forest VNA Hospice Chaplain, officiating.
