Stanley John Gavinski, 77, of West Sunbury passed away peacefully Wednesday in his home after a lingering illness with his wife, Eileen, at his side.

Stan was a very kind and devoted family man who would do anything for those special people in his life.

Surviving are his son, Eric Gavinski and his wife, Pam; granddaughters, Katelyn and Janelle McElhaney; daughter, Sheri Sturgis and her husband, Jeff, and granddaughter, Jessica; son, Jason and his wife, Kathryn, and grandsons, River, Alex and Marcus and dearest Kelly Anne Parks, mother of River; foster daughter, Terinia Beck Taylor; and foster son, Mark Wilson, who was much admired.

GAVINSKI — Services and burial were private for Stanley John Gavinski, who passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2013.Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the William F. Young Funeral Home, West Sunbury.
