Kathleen G. Anderson

Kathleen G. Anderson, 72, of Ferguson Road, Boyers, passed away at 10:35 p.m. Wednesday at UPMC Shadyside, Pittsburgh.

She was born on July 5, 1940, in Pittsburgh to George A. Moffat and Catherine “Sis” (O'Malley) Moffat.

She married William J. Anderson on Feb. 26, 1959, and he survives.

She was a 1958 graduate of the Pittsburgh Public School system. She was self-employed as a special creative gift baskets creator.

She was a member of the St. Anthony Roman Catholic Church, Forestville, Pa. She was a member of the church choir, active in many other church activities, and she also enjoyed traveling.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Karen L. Czech and her fiancee, Todd E. Smith, of Eau Claire; three sons, Patrick J. Anderson and his wife, Dori, of Baldwin, Pa., Eric W. Anderson of West Sunbury and Kevin M. Anderson of Houston, Texas; 12 grandchildren; two sisters, Rosemarie Boren and her husband, Ed, of Tulare, Calif., and Lorraine Hazlett and her husband, Don, of West Palm Beach, Fla.; one sister-in-law, Mary Jane Moffat; and one brother, George Moffat of Wilkins Township, Allegheny County.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one granddaughter and one brother, Michael Moffat.

ANDERSON — Friends of Kathleen G. Anderson, who passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2013, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Jamison Funeral Home, 117 N. Main St., Harrisville.A mass of Christian burial with be at the St. Anthony Roman Catholic Church, Forestville, at 11 a.m. Thursday, with the Rev. Kevin G. Poecking at celebrant.
