Carol Jean Clemente, 74, of Butler died Sunday at her home.

Born Jan. 23, 1939, in Troy Hill, she was the daughter of George and Alice Schaal Boory.

She was the wife of James R. Clemente Sr. They were married Sept. 1, 1956.

She formerly attended the St. Andrew Roman Catholic Church and was a homemaker.

Surviving are her husband, James R. Clemente Sr. of Butler; one son, James R. Clemente Jr. of Butler; one daughter, Debra Jean Kohler of Karns City; two grandchildren, Jamie Clemente of Pittsburgh and Kalina Jean Kohler of Butler; one great-granddaughter, Taylor Jean Cranmer; and one brother, Frederick G. Boory Sr. of Butler.

She was preceded in death by two brothers.

Clemente — Friends of Carol Jean Clemente, who died Sunday, June 16, 2013, will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler.
