Doris A. (Trimble) Goehring

Doris A. (Trimble) Goehring, 88, of Zelienople passed away Wednesday, June 12, while under the care of the Allegheny General Hospital, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Born April 16, 1925, in Cranberry Township, she was the daughter of the late Charles D. and Emma M. (Blank) Trimble.

Doris was a longtime member of the Calvin Presbyterian Church in Zelienople. As a child, she attended the Hoehn one room schoolhouse in Cranberry Township. Doris also enjoyed embroidering and gardening.

She is survived by her two sons, Kenneth C. Goehring of Pittsburgh and Randi L. Goehring of Zelienople; her sister, Grace (Trimble) Dennis of Zelienople; and four generations of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clair H. Goehring, who passed away on Jan. 13, 2005; her four brothers, Virgil, Merl, Melvin and Clifford Trimble; and her sister, Leora (Trimble) Rhodes.

Goehring — The family of Doris A. (Trimble) Goehring, who passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2013, will welcome friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.A funeral ceremony will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Calvin Presbyterian Church, 415 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople, with the Rev. Dr. N. Graham Standish, officiating.
