Butler Sting 16U places runner-up

The Butler Sting 16U girls fastpitch softball team placed second at last weekend’s Fastpitch Mania Tournament in Canonsburg. The squad tallied a record of 5-1 at the event, falling only in the title game, and finished the tournament with a team batting average of .417.

Team members include Brittany Coyle, Cheyenne Hindman, Ashley Coon, Jennifer Miller, Noel Pfabe, Emily McDonald, Hope Wonderling, Clara Stoughton, Gabrielle Herald and Kaitlyn Barnett. The team was coached by Scott Pierce.
