Wyliann “Wylie” Fisher, 65, of Ellijay, Ga., formerly of Butler, passed away Monday, June 17, 2013.

Born on July 29, 1947, in Williamsport, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Rev. Leland M. Mechtly and Jeanette Mechtly McDonald.

She is survived by her husband, Ted Fisher of Ellijay, Ga.; two daughters, Karen Gebelein of Dallas, Texas, and Marcia Derryberry of Ellijay, Ga.; and three grandchildren. Wylie also is survived by four sisters, Verna Prentice, Joy Kummer and Jill McDonald Walls, all of Butler, and Lynee Blair of Greer, S.C.; one brother, Jan McDonald of Prospect; her stepfather, Bob McDonald of Butler; and a number of nieces and nephews.
