David C. Schaffer
David C. Schaffer, 76, of Butler died Monday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born May 8, 1937, he was a son of the late Eugene and Mary Agnes (Collins) Schaffer.
Dave retired in 1991 after a career working in different positions in the auto business. He had a great appreciation for automobiles and made a career working on them.
He loved spending time at the river with his children and grandchildren. He was a member of the St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in Butler.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Surviving are his wife, Harriette (Weiland) Schaffer, who he married April 4, 1964; one son, David L. (Lori) Schaffer of Dover, Ohio; one daughter, Heather A. (Donald) Pringle of Butler; and four grandchildren, Morgan Schaffer, Jacob Schaffer, Elan Pringle and Landon Pringle.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Eugene Schaffer.
Schaffer — There will be no visitation for David C. Schaffer, who died Monday, July 1, 2013. Private services were held for his family. Entombment was in the Mausoleum of Calvary Cemetery, Butler.Arrangements were by the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E.
