Jessica Louise Davis

Jessica Louise Davis, 41, of Butler passed away Friday at Butler Memorial Hospital after fighting many years of chronic illnesses.

She was born Feb. 2, 1972, in Sewickley to Stephen W. Harvan Jr. and Deborah A. (McClean) Vaughn.

Jessica truly was a strong woman and didn’t give up without a fight. She was a role model who taught family and friends to fight for what you believe in. Through her illnesses, she made time for family and friends, lending a shoulder to lean on and just to listen. She had an infectious laugh and found humor in the simple things of life. Jessica was always smiling and was truly a wonderful daughter, sister and friend. She truly will be missed.

Jessica is survived by her husband, James B. Davis Jr.; her father and stepmother, Stephen W. Harvan Jr. and his wife, Bridget, of Evans City; her mother and stepfather, Deborah A. Vaughn and her husband, Alex, of Mena, Alaska; two sisters, Stephenie Gray and her husband, Andy, of Midland, Pa., and Tara Harvan and her fiance, Travis Rice, of Evans City; one brother, Justin Passa of Midland, Pa.; her mother-in-law, Jan Davis of West Aliquippa, Pa.; her grandmother, Stella Harvan of Aliquippa, Pa.; her “little angels,” Andrew, Kaylee, Alyssa, Emry, Easton, Brian, Jacob and Michael; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family would like to send a special “thank you” to her dear friends Ron, Amy and Allison.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Tristan Passa; her grandparents, Steve Harvan, Thomas and Anna Mae McClean and Alfredo and Nancy Passa; and a dear friend, Jack Davis.
