Jobless Rate
Butler County's jobless rate for July 2013 dropped slightly, from 6.7 percent to 6.3 percent, the lowest rate in the nine-county area. Eight counties saw their rates decline in July, while Beaver's remained the same. July's seasonally adjusted unemployment numbers are in bold type. The numbers in smaller type are month-earlier rates.
