Judith Hyde

Judith A. Hyde, 70, of Butler passed away Monday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born on Jan. 8, 1943, in Summerville, Pa., she was the daughter of Orville Hummel and Wilma Fry Hummel.

Judy worked as an accountant for Century Federal.

She was a member of the Freeport Chapter of Order of the Eastern Star and a former member of the Sarver Vets Ladies Auxiliary. She had also formerly served with Buffalo EMS. She enjoyed spending time with her family.

Surviving are her son, Jeff (Shari) Hummel of Pittsburgh; one sister, Patricia (Lloyd) Rubright of Butler, her grandchildren, Ashley Freehling, Jimmy Freehling, Matthew Hummel, Mandilyn Hummel, and Carlee Hummel, and her companion, Dave Rennick.

She is preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Elizabeth Freehling; one sister, Barbara Hoy, and one brother, Barry Hummel

HYDE — Friends of Judith A. Hyde, who passed away Monday, Aug. 5, 2013, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Fox Funeral Home, Saxonburg.
