L. Elizabeth Weckerly Rickenbrode

Elizabeth Rickenbrode

L. Elizabeth Weckerly Rickenbrode, 77, of Hagentown, Parker, passed away early Saturday morning at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh following an illness.

Born on Aug. 12, 1935, in Licking Township, Clarion County, she was daughter of the late Clifford Claire and Mildred B. Kilgore Weckerly.

Elizabeth was a devoted homemaker.

She was protestant.

Surviving are her husband of 56 years, John K. Rickenbrode, who she married in 1957; her daughter, Pamela Rickenbrode Johnson of Butler; her son, John Gregory (Karen) Rickenbrode of San Diego, Calif.; her grandchildren, Shawna Cotherman and Max Rickenbrode; and her sister, Margaret Ann Weckerly Flinchbaugh of Florida.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Roger Weckerly.

Rickenbrode — Friends of L. Elizabeth Weckerly Rickenbrode, who passed away Saturday, Aug. 10, 2013, may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the H. Jack Buzard Funeral Home, 201 S. Wayne Ave., Parker.
