Sherry Lynne Geibel, 50, of Cabot died Saturday at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Born March 11, 1963, in Butler, she was a daughter of the late John J. Rivers and Peggy E. (Bowers) Rivers.

Sherry Lynne had worked as administrator for Ross Ridge Manor in Ford City, was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church in Herman and had enjoyed gardening.

Surviving are her husband, Philip E. Geibel, who she married July 25, 1992; three daughters, Fontayne Ferguson and her husband, Ian, of Butler, Lisa Geibel of Cabot and Kristen Geibel of Cabot; one grandson, Gavin Ferguson; one sister, Jerri Leanne Reges and her husband, Jeff, of Cabot; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Jeffrey Rivers.

GEIBEL — Friends of Sherry Lynne Geibel, who died Saturday, Aug. 24, 2013, will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church in Herman. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Parish Cemetery.
