6:07 p.m. Saturday — Two women were hurt in a two-car accident at Main and Jefferson streets. The crash happened when cars driven by Harold D. Wilson Jr., 20, of Butler and Carlene A. Bonzer, 24, of Mars collided.Brittney Wilson, 19, of Butler, a passenger in Wilson's car, suffered unknown injuries. Brittney Wilson was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital.The police report noted that Harold Wilson was driving on a permit with a licensed driver in his vehicle and driving a vehicle without valid inspection.3:14 a.m. Saturday — Benjamin S. Eakin, 33, no known address, was arrested after he allegedly broke into his ex-girlfriend's apartment in the 400 block of East Jefferson Street, assaulted her and kept her from calling for help.Lisa S. Preston, 44, told police Eakin entered her apartment without her permission. The two got into an argument during which he struck her in her face several times. A neighbor heard the fight and called authorities.Preston told police that Eakin held her mouth shut to prevent her from screaming for help. She suffered cuts and bruises on her nose, chin and both wrists.Police arrested Eakin at 2:50 p.m. He was arraigned on charges of burglary, unlawful restraint and simple assault, and placed in the Butler County Prison on $5,000 bail.10:10 a.m. Tuesday — Donna E. Neff, 73, of Butler suffered minor injuries when her car struck a utility pole and the back of a car on West Cunningham Street. Neff told police she applied her brakes about two blocks before the accident but they apparently failed.Neff had minor cuts on her left hand. Police said those cuts were probably caused by flying glass from her windshield that was shattered when the passenger air bag deployed.Jacob A. Brocklenhurst, 28, of Butler Township was the driver. His back bumper sustained minor damage.3:42 p.m. Sept. 30 — Cars driven by Chester E. Dietrich, 24, of Butler and Bruce J. White, 62, of Jefferson Township collided at Morton and Mackey avenues. The collision spun Dietrich's car onto the sidewalk. Dietrich was cited for driving at an unsafe speed.4:54 p.m. Sept. 19 — Two people were hurt when a car driven by Aaron A. Arnold, 30, of Hermitage, Mercer County, rear-ended another car at Brady and Elm streets.Tiffany Schramm, 34, of Butler, the other driver, and her passenger, Crystal Neff, 39, of Butler were taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with moderate injuries; both were wearing seat belts.Police cited Arnold for a stop sign violation and driving without a license.

12:16 p.m. Friday — A Walmart employee was arrested on charges he stole five Apple iPhones last month from the store in Butler Commons.Joshua K. Keys, 33, of West Sunbury allegedly took the phones, valued at $699 each, and other merchandise on Sept. 16 and 17. Store video surveillance showed him taking the items, according to court documents.When Keys was arrested, police found him with a syringe, spoon and other suspected drug contraband. He told police he shot up Suboxone, a drug used to treat opioid addiction, documents said.Questioned about the theft, Keys admitted he had taken the cell phones and “sold or given them away and there was no way he could get them back,” a police affidavit said.Keys was arraigned on a felony count of retail theft and a summary charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. He is free on $2,500 bail.Wednesday — A convicted sex offender was arrested on charges he failed to provide police with information about his employment and vehicle.Michael Ambrosi-Clair, 26, of Butler was arraigned on felony charges of failing to comply with registration of sexual offenders requirements. He also was cited for driving with a suspended license.Sex offenders must annually confirm their address with state police. They also must register when they move, change employment or enroll in school, and the vehicle they drive.Ambrosi-Clair was arraigned and placed in the Butler County Prison on $10,000 bail.8:30 p.m. Tuesday — Two constables helped police arrest a Lyndora man wanted on a warrant. Stephen Cox, 34, was found hiding in a house on Route 8 south. He is charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

10:20 p.m. Sunday — Jessica Tribble, 34, of Grove City was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after she showed up at the Grove City police station on East Pine Street to file a police report.Saturday — Police reported a trumpet was stolen from the band room of the Grove City High School during the first week of June. Anyone with information is asked to call 724-458-7925.

8:17 a.m. Saturday — Presley D. Schiberl, 19, of Emlenton, Venango County, suffered a minor injury when he crashed into a traffic sign and several concrete barriers on Route 268 at Route 368 in Parker, Armstrong County. Schiberl was wearing a seat belt. He was cited for a stop sign violation.8:30 a.m. Saturday — Virginia R. Hertweck, 41, of Renfrew was hurt when she lost control of her car and crashed into an embankment on Valencia Road just north of Glade Run Road in Forward Township. Hertweck, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered a minor injury. Hertweck was cited for a lane violation.7:30 a.m. Saturday — Benjamin D. Felock, 24, of Sarver lost control of his pickup truck and struck a utility pole along Neupert Road just north of Constitution Avenue in Jefferson Township. The pickup continued into a fence owned by the Concordia Lutheran Home.Felock was cited for a lane violation. Winfield volunteer firefighters assisted police at the scene.7:20 p.m. Friday — A car driven by Joshua J. Drake, 19, and a sport utility vehicle driven by Thomas D. Rodgers, 64, both of Slippery Rock, collided at West Park and Dickey roads in Worth Township. Drake was cited for driving too fast for conditions.3:30 p.m. Friday — Two people were injured in a two-vehicle wreck in Forward Township. The crash happened when a car driven by Karen L. Peterson, 60, of Butler struck a pickup on Beacon Road just west of Stuckey Road. Both vehicles traveled off the road and into a wire fence and field.Peterson and Jason Nagle, 33, of Zelienople, who was driving the truck, suffered minor injuries. Peterson was wearing a seat belt; Nagle was not. Peterson was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital, and Nagle was taken to North Hills Passavant.Police said Peterson was cited for improperly entering or crossing a road.

Sunday — A thief stole five Husqvarna chain saws and other tools after breaking into several Asplundh tree service trucks on Scenic Drive behind the Trader Horn store in Manor Township. Among the other stolen items were two Stihl trim saws, climbing lines and climbing spikes.The property, worth a combined $4,000 to $5,000, was taken between 5 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. Sunday.5:40 p.m. Saturday — Jason M. Richey, 42, of Worthington lost control of his car and crashed into shrubbery and a tree along East Main Street just east of Claypoole Road in West Franklin Township. Richey was cited for driving at an unsafe speed.4:15 p.m. Friday — Two teenagers were hurt when a car crashed into a tree along Schall Hollow Road in Manor Township. The driver, Jared L. Baker, 19, of Ford City, and his passenger, Clayton Spencer, 18, of Vandergrift, Westmoreland County, suffered minor injuries; both were wearing seat belts. Baker was cited for a lane violation.12:30 p.m. Sept. 28 — Jeffrey A. Adams Jr., 31, of Templeton is accused of threatening to throw a Molotov cocktail through the front window of a 55-year-old woman's home on Clay Avenue in Pine Township. Adams also allegedly threatened to mail the woman a letter containing anthrax.Adams faces a citation for harassment.

9:07 a.m. Sunday — Laurie R. Waugaman, 51, of Grove City was hurt when she swerved her car to avoid an oncoming vehicle and struck an embankment on Route 58 just east of Grange Fair Drive in Findley Township. The car rolled over an ended on its roof. Waugaman, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered a minor injury.Sunday — Police reported the break-in at a church in Pine Township. Several unspecified items were stolen from the Center Presbyterian Church on Center Church Road in the burglary that happened Sept. 27 and 28.6:38 p.m. Friday — Two people were hurt when a car driven by Alexander W. Jack, 27, of Grove City rear-ended a pickup truck on George Junior Road at West Main Street Extension in Pine Township.The other driver, Daniel S. Drexler, 36, and his passenger, Shannon L. Drexler, 34, both of Grove City, suffered minor injuries. Shannon Drexler was treated at the Grove City Medical Center. Daniel Drexler was wearing a seat belt; Shannon Drexler was not.Police sad Jack was cited for following too closely to another vehicle.Friday — A thief stole a license plate off a vehicle at the Holiday Inn Express parking lot in Springfield Township. The plate, owned by a Washington, Pa., woman, was taken between 2:30 p.m. Thursday and noon Friday.

Sept. 3 — Unspecified items were stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Princeton Station Road in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County. The theft happened between 5 a.m. and 7 p.m.

Sunday — The state police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement reported that the Rig 13 Alehouse on Route 68 in Chicora was cited for violating the state liquor law by permitting smoking in the bar on July 25 and Aug. 3 and 8. An administrative law judge will hear the case.
