Harriet M. Caldwell, 89, formerly of Raccoon Township, Beaver County, passed away Friday in the Passavant Retirement Community.

She was born in Butler on May 10, 1924, the daughter of the late Walter and Catherine McKinnis.

She was a retired nurse working with Rochester and Aliquippa hospitals, and she was a member of Crestmont Alliance Church in Aliquippa.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold R. Caldwell; three brothers, Russell, Kenneth and William McKinnis; and two sisters, Alice Schwalm and Velma Mink.

She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

CALDWELL — Friends of Harriet M. Caldwell, who died Friday, Sept. 6, 2013, will be received on Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. in the Huntsman Funeral and Cremation Services of Rochester, 502 Adams St.The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the Seaman Lutheran Chapel at the Passavant Retirement Community, 401 S.
