Donald 'Don' Eugene Stewart Sr.
Donald “Don” Eugene Stewart Sr., 72, of Butler went to be with the Lord Saturday.
Born on Feb. 23, 1941, in Butler, he was the son of the late Harry and Daisy (Crispin) Stewart.
He loved spending time with his wife, Jane, of 50 years, hunting, fishing, gardening and woodworking.
He served in the U.S. Air Force.
He leaves behind his wife, Jane; his daughter, Kimberly (David) Borror; his son, Don (Cathy) Stewart; and nine grandchildren, Sarah, Steven (Vanessa), Elizabeth, Caleb, Nathan, Kristina, Hannah, Seth and Grace, and one great-grandchild, Rylan. His sister, Dorothy (Dick) Day of East Butler, also survives.
Don was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Daisy Stewart; his brothers, William and Harry Stewart, and his sisters, Marie Goldinger, Betty Fleming and Jean James.
STEWART — The family of Donald E. Stewart Sr., who passed away Saturday, Sept. 14, 2013, will welcome friends and family from 2 to 3 p.m. Monday at the Fellowship Baptist Church in Emlenton. A memorial service will follow at 3 p.m. Monday, with Pastor Jacob Langdon officiating. He was laid to rest at the South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth, Fla.
