Ruth H. Nickle Palm

Ruth H. Nickle Palm, 92, a resident of the Evergreen Nursing Center, formerly of Evans City, died Sunday afternoon in Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born on Nov. 3, 1920, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Helen Baker Nickle.

She was a member of the Oak Grave Lutheran Church in New Sewickley Township.

Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, William Palm; her sister; and her brother.

She is survived by her son, Arthur Palm of Evans City; her two sisters, Mildred “Midge” McCormick of Zelienople and Virginia “Jean” Arenth of Penn Hills; her brother, Robert (Ruth) Nickle of Renfrew, and her two grandchildren, Tiffany and Jacob.

PALM — The family of Ruth H. Nickle Palm, who died Sunday, Oct. 6, 2013, will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the A. Carl Kinsey-Ronald N. Volz Funeral Home, 328 W. Main St., Evans City. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.Additional information may be obtained at www.kinsey-volzfuneralhome.com.
