Esther (Larkin) Waldron

Esther Waldron

Esther (Larkin) Waldron, 84, of Zelienople, formerly of Evans City, passed away Tuesday at Passavant Retirement Community.

Born on Jan. 8, 1929, in Forward Township, she was the daughter of the late George A. and Birdie Leona (Pfeifer) Larkin.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her four children, Colleen DeMarco and her husband, Raymond, of Beaver, Corinne “Kitty” Waldron of Irwin, Daniel S. Waldron and his wife, Shellie, of Mechanicsville, Va., and Nora Rezzetano and her husband, Mark, of Evans City; her four granddaughters, Bonnie Dyer, Sarah Catherine Fierst, Hannah Larkin Waldron and Rachel Clara Waldron; her two great-grandchildren, August and Noelle Dyer, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Esther was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 56 years, William Simpson Waldron Jr., who passed away on Dec. 5, 2004, and her four brothers and her three sisters.

Waldron — The family of Esther (Larkin) Waldron, who passed away Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2013, will welcome friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Boylan Funeral Home, 116 E. Main St., Evans City.A funeral ceremony will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Dr. Verna Call officiating.She will be laid to rest at the Evans City Cemetery.If desired, memorial contributions may be made in her honor in support of the Butler County Humane Society, 1015 Evans City Road, Renfrew, PA 16053.Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the Waldron family at www.boylafuneralhome.com.
