Nancy (Brown) Campbell
Nancy (Brown) Campbell, 74, of Butler passed away Thursday at her home following a long and courageous battle with breast cancer.
She was born on May 20, 1939, in Butler, the daughter of the late Howard and Dorothy Cousins Brown.
Nancy was an avid gambler and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her great-grandsons, who encouraged strength through rough times.
She was a formerly employed by the Peoples Telephone Co. where she worked as a telephone operator for many years.
She was member of the St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church in Meridian.
Surviving are her loving companion, Ronald Urban; her daughter, Kelly (Dennis) Noto; her grandsons, Corey and Tyler Noto, Michael Campbell, Blake (Renee) Campbell; her great-grandsons, Hayden and Avery Campbell; her special great-niece, Angela Cirillo, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Her beloved Yorkies, Sassy, Toby and Lil Bud, also survive.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas B. Campbell; her two brothers, Paul Brown and Bruce Cousins, and her infant sister.
CAMPBELL — The funeral services for Nancy (Brown) Campbell, who passed away Thursday, Oct. 10, 2013, are private at her own request.
The funeral arrangements are by the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St. in Butler.
