Linda Galbraith

Linda Galbraith, 62, of Harrisville passed away Wednesday at the Grove City Medical Center after an extended illness.

Born June 29, 1951, in Grove City, she was the daughter of Roy Whitling and Pearl Hall Whitling.

Linda graduated from Allegheny-Clarion Valley High School. She married James Galbraith on Nov. 6, 1970, and he survives.

Linda was a devoted housewife and mother. She was an animal lover, especially of horses. She was the glue that held her family together, spending time with her family was very important to her. With her never ending love, she will be with all of us until we are reunited.

Linda was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Slippery Rock.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are her children, Jody Lynn Hankins of Butler, Jami Robert Galbraith and his fiancee, Amanda Marie Issacks, of Fredonia and Justin Wayne Galbraith and his wife, Heather Ann, of Butler; her grandchildren, Jasmine Hankins, Brianna Gillen, Brayden, Sierra, Dakoda and Joel Cogswell, Eric Turnbull, Madison and Samantha Isaacks, and Tristen, Rebbecca, Trever and Jordin Galbraith; and her brothers and sisters, David Shaw and his wife, Connie, Ruth Shultz and her husband, Steve, Carol Adams and her husband, David, Roy Whitling and his wife, Colleen, Deborah Schaeffer and her husband, Dan, and William Kemery.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one grandson, Devon Kirk.

GALBRAITH — There will be memorial service later for Linda Galbraith, who died Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2013.The Larry E. McKinley Funeral Home in Clintonville is in charge of the arrangements.The family suggest donations be made to the funeral home to help defray funeral cost, McKinley Funeral Home, P.O.
