JEFFERSON TWP — Dr. Jonas Cooper, a cardiac electrophysiologist from Butler Health System, will present “The Heart and Its Electrical Problems” at 6 p.m. Thursday in the Concordia Haven I dining room, entrance 2A, 112 Marwood Road.

Cooper has advanced skills in arrhythmia, heart electrical illness and heart palpitation.

This presentation is part of Concordia's Doc Talk series.

Lions Club begins tree sale

The Butler Lions Club's annual Christmas tree sale will begin at noon Sunday at the Butler High School stadium, 120 Campus Lane.

The sale will be from 5 to 8 p.m. weekdays and will begin at 9 a.m. Saturdays and 11 a.m. Sundays until all trees are sold.

JEFFERSON TWP — Residents of the Concordia Haven Apartments will present “The Fulfillment of Hope,” a Christmas cantata, at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Concordia Haven I dining room, entrance 2A, 112 Marwood Road.Admission is free.Concordia Alleluia Chorale was formed 13 years ago and is directed by Carol Oliver, a Haven III resident.Notices should be received by the Focus Department one week in advance of the event.
