9:18 p.m. Sunday — An SUV driven by Michael Andre, 20, of Butler and a pickup driven by David Kotchey III, 20, of Butler collided at the intersection of Monroe and East Jefferson streets. Andre was taken by Butler Ambulance to Butler Memorial Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Kotchey was cited for not yielding the right of way before turning left.12:03 a.m. Wednesday — Jeffrey Abrams, 58, of Butler was arrested on an outstanding warrant from Trumbull County in Ohio for a $1,855.68 bad check following a traffic stop on West Jefferson Street.
1:08 p.m. Friday — Charles Hall, 63, and Marion Hall, 60, both of Clay Township, were charged with theft of property lost or mislaid, theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property after allegedly refusing to turn over a missing dog belonging to Joann Noblit, 78, of West Sunbury.The Labrador retriever was missing since Sept. 21.
8:30 p.m. Saturday — Timothy Stainbrook of Mercer reported the theft of tools from the front seat of an unlocked vehicle while it was parked outside 2980 Sandy Lake Grove City Road in Sandy Lake Township. Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call police at 724-662-6162.11:33 a.m. Tuesday — A car driven by Dennis Casciotti, 67, of Grove City hit a guard rail along Interstate 79 in Plain Grove Township and spun counterclockwise across the highway. The driver, who was cited for not staying in the lane, received minor injuries.11:24 a.m. Dec. 14 — A car driven by Torrie Brown, 21, of Slippery Rock hit a mailbox and a ditch along Mercer Butler Pike in Liberty Township before overturning. The driver, who was not injured, was cited for not driving at a safe speed.
4:40 p.m. Thursday — A car driven by Brittany Weiss, 18, of Sarver and a car driven by Jennifer Riggle, 36, of Vandergrift collided at the intersection of Route 356 and a ramp from Route 28 in Buffalo Township. Both drivers and a 1-year-old passenger in Riggle's car received minor injuries. Weiss was cited for turning left into the path of the other vehicle.
