David Craig Wise

David Craig Wise, 60, of Prospect, formerly of Butler, died Monday, Nov. 25, 2013, at his home after an illness.

He was born in New Kensington on Oct. 12, 1953, and was the son of David John Wise and Marilyn Howells Wise.

He had worked for ARC of Butler as a senior residential program worker.

He was a Christian.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

He was a member of AA and NA. He was an avid music lover and especially loved the Beatles.

Survivors include his wife, Melody McClure Wise; his stepfather, Robert Skalko of Wisconsin; his three sons, David Wise of New Kensington, Damion Wise of Ohio and John McClure of Prospect; his three daughters, Brandy (Matthew) Williams of Butler, Terri (Pete) Orana of Altoona and Patricia Wise of Butler; his sister, Andrea (Tim) Korth of Wisconsin, and his 16 grandchildren, including Paige McClure and Sebastian Wise, who he was raising.

WISE — There will be no public visitation for David Craig Wise, who died Monday, Nov. 25, 2013. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Jay Bryan Funeral Home, 443 Main St., Prospect, with the Revs. Keith Black and Mike Wimer officiating.
