Anna M. 'Bubba' Poprovsky

Anna M. “Bubba” Poprovsky, 95, of Butler died Thursday morning at the Good Samaritan Hospice, Concordia Lutheran Ministries, in Cabot.

Born on June 14, 1918, in Butler, she was a daughter of the late Andy and Anna Raskowsky.

She worked at the Spaide Shirt factory, the Armco Hot Dog Shop and retired from Bobbie Brooks.

Surviving are her daughters, Val Nanni of Seattle, Wash., Joyce Lamison of Butler and Teresa Green of Butler; her seven grandchildren; her 12 great-grandchildren; and her four great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Poprovsky; her son, Robert Poprovsky; and eight brothers and sisters.

Poprovsky — A memorial service for Anna M. “Bubba” Poprovsky, who died Thursday, Nov. 28, 2013, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.Information also is available at www.geibelfuneralhome.com.
