Rudolph A. 'Babe' Kudelka
Rudolph A. “Babe” Kudelka, 87, of Ford City passed away Monday at his home.
He was born on Nov. 29, 1926, in Ford City to the late Steven and Mary (Stomfaj) Kudelka.
He married Phyllis Heilman Kudelka on Jan. 12, 1950.
He was a mechanic and retired from PPG in Ford City after 41 years.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in World War II.
He was a former member of the Holy Trinity Parish. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping and arrow head hunting. He also enjoyed spending time with his family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis; his daughter, Marsha (George) Kepple of Sugar Creek Township; his grandchildren, Krista (Eric) Ritzert and David (Jennifer) Kepple; his great-grandchildren, Addison, Kendall and Taylor Ritzert and Juliana and Christian Kepple; his sister, Rose Anselmo of Leechburg; and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son, Rudolph A. “Buzzy” Kudelka; his brothers, Joseph, Frank, Steve and John; and his sisters, Anna Obrin, Pauline Butko, Mary Bowser and Margaret Strazzer.
KUDELKA — The visitation for Rudolph A. “Babe” Kudelka, who passed away Monday, Dec. 2, 2013, will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Mantini Funeral Home, 701 Sixth Ave., Ford City. The service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Dr. Randall Forester officiating. Burial will be in Lawn Haven Cemetery.
