Marjorie Isobel Emigh
Marjorie Isobel Emigh, 91, of Butler passed away at 6 a.m. Tuesday at her home after three months of devoted, constant care provided by our beloved family friend, Leigh Dillaman.
She was born on June 6, 1922, in Mineral Point, Pa., to the late Harry Eugene Reighard and Martha Jane (Burkhart) Reighard.
Isobel enjoyed and treasured time spent with her family. She was a member of the GraceWay Community Church, where she served as head greeter for many years. She loved her church and church family and always had a kind and encouraging word for everyone she met.
Mrs. Emigh worked at Pullman Standard for 13 years.
Mrs. Emigh is survived by her two sons, Frederick Emigh and his wife, LaLanda, of Slippery Rock and Robert Emigh and his wife, Jeryl, of Butler; her two daughters, Marjorie Yost and her husband, George, of Butler and Joyce Moore of Butler; her six grandchildren, David Goslaw and his wife, Amy, Stephen Goslaw and his wife, Kim, Rebecca Daw and her husband, Jeff, Jared Emigh, Zach Emigh and his wife, Demi, and Nathan Emigh; her six great-grandchildren, Brittany and Garett Goslaw, Rachel and Rebecca Goslaw and Christopher and Madison Daw; her brother, Robert Reighard of Dayton, Pa.; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Saul Emigh, who she married on Feb. 15, 1945, and who passed away on March 27, 2004; her four brothers; and two sisters.
EMIGH — The friends of Marjorie Isobel Emigh, who passed away Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2013, will be received from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler. The funeral services will immediately follow at 4 p.m. with the Rev.
