Patricia A. (Fox) Miller
Patricia A. (Fox) Miller, 80, of Pittsburgh, formerly of Newport, R.I., Clearwater, Fla. and Buffalo, N.Y., died Wednesday.
Born on March 18, 1933, in Buffalo, she was the daughter of the late George T. and Anna L. (Osborne) Fox.
She was the beloved wife of the late Charles L. Miller and longtime companion of Gerard M. “Butch” Kelly of Newport; the loving mother of Charles L. Miller II of Buffalo, Kurt P. Miller of Butler and Melinda L. Miller of Pittsburgh; the foster mother to Victoria Cessna of Pittsburgh; the sister of Wendy Santa Maria of Clearwater, and the dear grandmother of Nicholas P. Miller and Brandon L. Miller, whom she and Butch caringly raised. In addition to grandchildren Catherine T. Miller, Jason Powell, Candice Lily, Corey Florentine and James Bucci, she also leaves eight great-grandchildren.
An independent spirit, who often opened her home to family and friends in need, Patricia loved living all over the country and overseas as a Naval spouse. She was the longtime co-owner of Newport Needleworks, always enjoyed having pets in her home and enjoyed cooking, entertaining and traveling almost anywhere to be with family and friends.
