Hypothermia apparent cause of Zelie student's death in Erie

ERIE — Hypothermia is the preliminary finding from the autopsy of a Gannon University student from Zelienople who died Saturday night after she went missing from a party at a second-floor apartment near where she was found unconscious in an alley.

Abbrielle Brynda, 21, was found Saturday afternoon. Her coat still was inside the apartment. She died at 9 p.m. Saturday at an Erie hospital.

Exactly how she got to where she was found in the alley still is under investigation by police.
