Thomas R. Palmer

Thomas Palmer

Thomas R. Palmer, 77, of Harmony went home Monday to be with the Lord while in the comfort of his home.

Born on Oct. 8, 1936, in Fombell, he was the son of the late Shelley and Ruth (Tucker) Palmer.

Tom was an active member of the St. Peter's Reformed Church in Zelienople for many years. He retired in 1999, as a Teamsters truck driver for the Chemical Leaman Trucking Co., where he drove 2 million miles without an accident.

He will be remembered for his sense of humor and the way he always joked around with others, and how he always had a smile on his face. Above all, Tom was an adoring husband to Jean, loving father and grandfather who loved going camping with his grandchildren and whose home was the gathering place for the holidays. He will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.
