Tarcha 50th anniversary
John and Patricia Tarcha will celebrate 50 years of marriage with a family dinner at Rose Haven Bed and Breakfast in Butler followed by an afternoon Mass at St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church in Lyndora.
Tarcha married the former Patricia Piroch on Feb. 8, 1964, at St. Michael Ukranian Catholic Church in Lyndora.
They have five children, Brian Tarcha of Brunswick Hills, Ohio, Michelle (Kurt) Huff of Butler, Sharon (Joseph) Tokarski of Sarver, Erin (Gregory) Griess of Wellsboro, Pa., and Dr. Rebecca (Kevin) Cramer of Cranberry Township.
They also have nine grandchildren.
Tarcha retired from ARMCO. He is a member of the Knights of Columbus, Meridian Vets and Butler Hospital Auxiliary. He enjoys golfing.
Mrs. Tarcha is employed by the Butler School District. She is a member of the St. Fidelis Christian Women’s Guild, Butler Hospital Auxiliary and Sunrise Bowling League.
The Tarchas are members of St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church.
