Edward McIntyre

Edward A. McIntyre, 82, of Holmes Beach, Fla., went to be with the Lord on Thursday under the loving care of his family at Tidewell Hospice of Bradenton, Fla.

Mr. McIntyre was born on Aug. 2, 1931, in Butler to his parents Edward and Helen McIntyre.

He was a former general superintendent for Paver Construction of Sarasota, Fla.

He was a Christian and a Knights Templar 32nd degree Mason with F.&A.M. Lodge of Sarasota, Fla. Mr. McItyre loved history, and he enjoyed working with his hands, especially wood working and cabinet making.

He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Irene Flinn of Holmes Beach, Fla.; four sons, Curtis E. (Vicki) McIntyre of Celebration, Fla., Milton G. (Delynn) Flinn of Estero, Fla., Douglas J. (Penni) Flinn of Louisville, Ky., and Michael C. (Shirley) Flinn of Ruskin, Fla.; three daughters, Michele (Todd)

McIntyre-Engle of Lake Mary, Fla., Sandra J. (Frank) Klim of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Kathleen (Mike) Klozar of Holmes Beach, Fla.; one sister, Sandy Ellis of Cleveland, Tenn.; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and one niece and one nephew.He was preceded in death by his first wife, Donna McIntyre; and one sister, Beverly McIntyre.mcintyre — A celebration of life memorial service for Edward A.
