Kradel

Gerald L. Kradel, 68, of Butler passed away Thursday at 6:46 a.m. at the Grove City Medical Center.

He was born May 20, 1945, in Butler to the late Gottlob Kradel and Alta L. (Hoon) Kradel.

Mr. Kradel worked for Schwans, Wise, and worked for a period of time at a Window Factory. He also worked as an assistant manager and manager for AutoZone. He was a graduate of Slippery Rock University. He was a former member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ. Mr. Kradel served as minister at Valencia United Methodist Church.

Mr. Kradel is survived by three sons, David Kradel and his wife, Christi, of Pleasantville, Russell Kradel (Rusty) of Butler and Dennis Kradel and his wife Becky of North Carolina; one daughter, Diana Edwards of Meadville; 11 grandchildren; two stepchildren; a number of step-grandchildren; one brother, Ronald L. Kradel and his wife, Sandra, of Chicora; one sister, Phyllis Draxinger and her husband, Kenneth, of Butler; one aunt; and a number of nieces and nephews.

KRADEL — Friends of Gerald L. Kradel, who died Thursday, Jan. 30, 2014, will be received at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E.
