Robert B. 'Corky' Snodgrass
Robert B. “Corky” Snodgrass, 79, of Butler passed away at 11:16 p.m. Saturday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
He was born on Oct. 23, 1934, in Butler, to the late Frank Snodgrass and Mary Ora (Bell) Snodgrass.
Mr. Snodgrass was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
He retired in 1998 as a toolmaker for Magnetics after 43 years of service. Mr. Snodgrass was a member of the Community Alliance Church.
Mr. Snodgrass is survived by his three sons, Wayne Snodgrass of Center Township, Mark Snodgrass and his wife, Trudy, of West Sunbury and Gary Snodgrass and his wife, Patsy, of Bunker Hill, W.Va.; his three grandsons, Joshua Snodgrass, Justin Snodgrass and Matthew Snodgrass; and a granddaughter, Caitlin Snodgrass.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Faye (Kiser) Snodgrass, who he married on May 16, 1958, and who passed away on June 20, 2011.
Snodgrass — The friends of Robert B. “Corky” Snodgrass, who passed away Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at theThompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler.The funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Community Alliance Church, 800 Mercer Road, Butler, with the Rev. Dr. Dennis L.
