Marian K. Marshall

Marian K. Marshall, 90, of Butler passed away at 12:45 a.m. Tuesday at the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center following a long illness.

She was born on Jan. 25, 1924, in Akron, Ohio, to the late Edward Foky and Mary (Bette) Foky.

Mrs. Marshall worked for dental labs in Butler, and also worked for Dr. May as a receptionist until her retirement.

She was a member of the Covenant United Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Marshall was very active in Maqueda Chapter 421 OES, now the Butler Chapter 45, and the Good Samaritan White Shrine for more than 50 years.

Mrs. Marshall is survived by her daughter, Barbara Blatt of Butler; her son, Bruce Marshall and his wife, Jayne, of Mocksville, N.C.; her five grandsons and three great-grandchildren, who she dearly loved. She is also survived by her two sisters, Margaret Bailey of Wadsworth, Ohio, and Barbara Fritch of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.

Marshall — There will no public visitation for Marian K. Marshall, who passed away Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2014.
