Eleanor Cooper

Eleanor M. Cooper, 97, of Saxonburg, passed away Tuesday at the Saxony Health Center.

Born on July 19, 1916, in Saxonburg, she was the daughter of the late Aaron and Alberta (Lefever) Bachman.

She was a homemaker. Eleanor was a member of St. Luke's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Saxonburg. She enjoyed cards, bingo, and spending time with her grandchildren. Eleanor also enjoyed Camp Gachelco, Medix Run, Elk County.

Surviving are her loving son, Gary (Janet) Cooper of Saxonburg; her granddaughter, Amanda Cooper of Hanover; her grandson, Aaron (Abby) Cooper of Gibsonia; her great-granddaughter, Aria Cooper of Gibsonia, and her sister, Lucille Bachman Blakeley of Saxonburg.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles S. Cooper, and her sisters, Florence Drescher, Genevieve Bachman, Jane Bachman and Erla Felsing

COOPER — The friends of Eleanor M. Cooper, who passed away Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2014, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at theFox Funeral Home, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Luke's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Saxonburg, with the Rev. Roger Keller officiating.
