Flynn's Tire sponsors food bank diaper drive
Flynn’s Tire is sponsoring a diaper drive for families in need.
Kristi’s Diaper Drive is a senior project by Kristi Fitzgerald, who is a senior at Seneca Valley High School. She is the daughter of Shaun Fitzgerald, general manager of Flynn’s Tire Wholesale.
Flynn’s Tire & Auto Service locations are drop off points for the diaper drive. Each store will have a collection bin where unopened packages of disposable diapers can be dropped off to help financially struggling families.
Diapers will be collected by Flynn’s delivery trucks on May 8 and delivered to the North Hills Food Bank in Ross Township.
Kristi Fitzgerald said, “I wanted to choose a project that will help people in the community. Diapers are expensive and that can take a huge part of a mother’s budget.”
“I am very thankful that I have the North Hills Food Bank to take my donated diapers to because I know that they have a network in place to distribute them to those that need them.”
