Maria Burns and Kenny Watterson

A June wedding is being planned by Maria Burns and Kenny Watterson, both of Chicora.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Joyce and Daniel Burns of Chicora. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Cindy and Ken Watterson of East Butler.

The future bride is a 2001 graduate of Karns City High School. She graduated from Slippery Rock University in 2006 and from Edinboro University in 2011.

She is employed by St. Wendelin School in Butler.

Her fiance graduated in 1999 from Butler High School and in 2006 from Slippery Rock University.

He is employed by Lenape Tech in Ford City.
