Joe Neigh of Butler was selected as Rotarian of the Year by the Rotary Club of Butler.
A Rotarian for 19 years, Neigh leads the group's highway cleanup this year; prepares the room for meetings; coordinates with the post office, bank and Rotary treasurer during the Turkey Round Up; and has participated in numerous other projects.
Neigh retired from the plumbing business after 50 years. He provides maintenance services to the YWCA of Butler and is a volunteer at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church.
A “people person,” he has volunteered at Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for 22 years and often visits YWCA residents.
