County youths shine at TOS

BUTLER TWP — The Butler County USBC Youth Association held its Tournament of Stars Championship Tournament recently at Family Bowlaway.

Youth bowlers who bowled in three houses and medaled once, along with those who bowled in four houses during the season, were invited to participate.

Bowlers competed by average. Divisions included averages of 81-100, 101-120, 121-140, 161-180 and 181-up. The top five bowlers in each division — with the exception of 81-100 — advanced to a stepladder format to determine winners of $100 scholarships.

Those winners were Seirra Koerbel (101-120), Kyle Barnes 9121-140), Eric Barnes (141-160), Megan Paul (161-180) and Brett Miner (181-up).
