Betty I. Iman
Betty I. Iman, 85, of Donegal Township, Chicora, passed away at 9:54 a.m. Thursday at the Sugar Creek Rest Home in Worthington, following a lengthy illness.
She was born on May 13, 1928, in Kaylor, Pa., the daughter of the late Albert Ealy and Genevieve Ruth Crawford Ealy.
Betty worked at the Butler Shirt Factory for a number of years. She worked at May Sterns Furniture in Butler for several years. She also worked at Bobby Brooks Clothing in Butler for 19 years until the plant closed in 1982.
She married Arthur Iman on Aug. 21, 1945. Arthur passed away Dec. 5, 1990.
She is survived by her two daughters, Sandra Brown and her husband, Kenneth, of Edinburg, Lawrence County, and Pamela Knox and her husband, Thomas, of Bossier City, La.; her five grandchildren, Randall Rottman and his wife, Anna, Diana Berry and her husband, Gregg, Kenneth Brown Jr., Sean Knox and Kathryn Knox; her five great-grandchildren, Rachell, Leah and Zane Rottman, Emily Berry and Ellie Knox Davidson; her sister, Eleanor Letta; her brother, Arthur Ealy; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Calvin and Robert Ealy and her infant brother, Tommy Ealy, and her sisters, Dorothy Kaiser and Corrine Barnhart.

Iman— The friends of Betty I. Iman, who passed away Thursday, March 6, 2014, will be received at the STEIGHNER FUNERAL HOME, 111 E. Slippery Rock and Main streets, Chicora, from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday.The funeral services will be at 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with the Rev. Mark Wallace officiating.
