WEST SUNBURY — Inclement weather forced North Trails Public Library's used book sale and community bake sale to be rescheduled to this week.

The presale will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday at the library, 155 West Sunbury Road.

The sale will be from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

SAXONBURG — The GFWC Saxonburg District Woman's Club will hold its annual rummage and bake sale from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 16 and from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 17 at the VFW, Dinnerbell Road. Use the rear entrance.Donations of clean items in good condition will be accepted from noon to 5 p.m. May 15. The sale will not include clothing.Proceeds will benefit local projects and charities.

PROSPECT — The Prospect Community Library, 357 Main St., will have a used book sale from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 16 and from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 17.For more information, call the library at 724-865-9718.

The Central Blood Bank will have three blood drives in May.• 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 18 at St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church, 432 Center Ave.• 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 20 at Newhaven Court at Clearview, 100 Newhaven Lane• 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 21 at EMS-Cranberry Township, 20727 Route 19.

CABOT — The American Legion Lauter-Falkner Post 683 Tuesday will host a free educational program for those interested in raising poultry in their backyards.The program will begin with pizza at 5:30 p.m. at the post, 754 N.
