Freida Dawn Krause
Freida Dawn Krause, 72, of Butler passed away Monday at the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born on April 12, 1942, in Butler, the daughter of the late Warren E. and Sylvia (McCullough) McCommon.
Freida was a member of St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church.
She enjoyed camping, working in her flower garden, playing bingo, and most of all, being with her family.
A big thank you goes out to Freida's extended family at Sunnyview for their continued love and care in the past nine years.
Surviving are her daughter, Brenda Krause and her companion, Charlie Firster, of Butler; her two sons, William (Georgia) Krause and Brian (Robin) Krause, all of Butler; her four grandchildren; her one great-grandson; her sister, Bonnie Manning of Erie; her three brothers, Warren McCommon, Thomas McCommon and David (Julie) McCommon, all of Butler, and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Sylvia “Sam” Ervin, and her brother, Dan McCommon.
