Natalie I. Famielec

Natalie Irene Famielec, 85, of Butler died Thursday evening at the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Born Aug. 11, 1928, in Czeladz Piaski Sosnoviec, Poland, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Maria Cebulska.

She met her husband, John Famielec, in a German camp in 1943. They were married in Germany in 1946, then came to America and settled in Butler in 1951. John died Oct. 15, 1990.

Natalie was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler, and she was a homemaker.

Surviving are her son, John (Karen) Famielec of Butler; one daughter, Christine Hageter of Butler; three grandchildren, Tricia (Jon) Romett, Mark Hageter and Karen Spohn; six great-grandchildren, Julia Romett, Landon Romett, Thomas Hageter, Jeffrey Hageter, Chanel Niemeyer and Veronica Spohn; and three great-great-grandchildren, McKenzie, Christian and Gannon.

FAMIELEC — There will not be a visitation for Natalie Irene Famielec, who died Thursday, April 17, 2014. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Butler.Arrangements are by the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.
