Anna 'Annie' Rose Logut Madey
Anna “Annie” Rose Logut Madey, 90, passed away Friday at Concordia Lutheran Ministries after an illness with cancer.
Born on Aug. 19, 1923, in Luzern Mines, Annie first lived in Russellton and then in Saxonburg since 1950.
She was a member of the St. Joseph's Catholic Church of Cabot and participated in its auxiliary.
Her husband, Walter “Ed” Madey; her two sisters; her brother; her three nieces; and three nephews preceded her in death.
Surviving are her children, her daughter, Carol (John) McLain of New Oxford, their daughters Shalisse (Tom) Godfrey, and their two daughters Mikayla and Madison of Webster, N.H., and Kasim McLain and her husband, Owen Duckworth, of Raleigh, N.C.; her son, Edward Madey of Saxonburg; her daughter, Adele Madey of Butler; and her two daughters, Nicole (Jason) Allen and their two sons, Ezra and Evan, of Slippery Rock, and Tyrell Pflugh of Butler.
