Esther Regina Arn Gribschaw
Esther Regina Arn Gribschaw, 85, of Butler passed away Wednesday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice in Butler.
Born on March 31, 1929, in Hamilton, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Flora (Schultis) Kneisley.
She was a member of the St. Victor Roman Catholic Church and a third order member of The Most Pure Heart of Mary Provence of the Carmelite Order.
She is survived by her eight children, Rudy J. (Sara) Arn of Phoenix, Ariz., Stephen M. (Kim) Arn of Butler, Mary E. (Frank) Haught of Austin, Texas, Sister Donna M. Gribschaw of Pittsburgh, Albert M. Gribschaw of California, Dennis (Jamie) Gribschaw of Glassport, Ronald (Joan) Gribschaw of Baldwin and Christine (Patrick) McCarthy of North Carolina; her grandchildren, Jessica Wood, Rudy Arn, Casey Arn, Breanna Gribschaw, Brian Gribschaw, Brendan McCarthy and Caitlin McCarthy; her great-grandchildren, Miles Wood and Hudson Wood; and her sister, Joan (Frank) Cutler of Eatontown, N.J.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Rudy W. Arn and Albert C. Gribschaw, and her sister, Geraldine Schrand.
Gribschaw — The family of Esther Regina Arn Gribschaw, who passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2014, will welcome friends from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the King Funeral Home, 2841 Woodland Circle, Allison Park.A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the St. Victor Roman Catholic Church, 527 Bairdford Road, Bairdford, with the Rev. Charles Speicher officiating and the Rev. Nicholas J. Argentieri and Pastor Clark Sawyer co-celebrating.Esther will be laid to rest at Allegheny County Memorial Park in Allison Park.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her honor in support of the VNA Hospice, 115 Technology Drive, Butler, PA 16001.Expressions of sympathy may be shared with Esther's family at www.kingfuneralhome.com.
