Faye and Joe Menchyk

Joe and Faye Menchyk of Butler celebrated 50 years of marriage with dinner and will take a family vacation to Myrtle Beach this summer.

Menchyk married the former Faye Lamison on July 11, 1964, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Butler.

They have two children, Lonnie (Michelle) Menchyk of Butler and Jodi (Brian) Cook of Brimfield, Ohio.

They also have five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Menchyk retired from Pennsylvania Engineering in Pittsburgh and owned his own consulting company, L&J Menchyk Inc.

Mrs. Menchyk retired from Butler County Community College where she was the “Voice of BC3” for more than 20 years.

The Menchyks enjoy trips to Disney World and spending time with family and friends.
